Crossable.dev is an online tool to create personalized crossword puzzles using your own specific keywords.
The Backstory
I built Crossable because, let's be honest, who *really* wants to solve a crossword about 19th-century opera singers? I was bored of the standard fare, so I created a tool that lets you generate crosswords around topics YOU care about. The initial reaction has been a mixed bag – some folks are thrilled with the personalization, while others have pointed out some kinks (like the loading screen – whoops!). It's a work in progress, but the potential for personalized trivia is enormous!
How to Play

Like most AI slop, it has so many answers wrong and misspelt. Not sure if there are AI comments here praising it or maybe people who haven't fully tried to solve a puzzle but it's a crossword; there is no room for AI if it can't get basic spelling/answers right.

Edit: oh and apparently if you leave the page for a second it stops and you have to start over. How fun.
