This website is an interactive online VHS tape player that emulates a retro TV experience, letting you browse through a collection of personal home movies.
The Backstory
Inspired by MyRetroTVs, I built this retro TV emulator to share my personal home movie collection. The project was a labor of love, tweaking and perfecting the player to work flawlessly across all screens. I was personally thrilled when it finally came together – the satisfying click of the channel changer, the subtle hiss of the tape, it all just *works*. The amazing reactions from others, saying it's 'spectacular' and makes great background noise, is the best reward!
