I like it. Might be a bit difficult to understand for players who haven't played Eclipse.

Appreciate the effort put in to this, but it plays so abstractedly, sort of like everything's happening on a spreadsheet

Having actual ships being depicted and more distinct sounds might help. I'm kind of just fishing in the dark, though, since I never played the boardgame.

Having played a bit more, I would say there are a few areas where balance could potentially be improved

* I never find it worthwhile to use cruisers or dreadnoughts - the various costs to upgrading, and the loss (effectively) of everything in your old class blueprint when you transition to a new class feels like too high a price. * Shields don't seem all that useful, because not many of the enemies are equipped with computers

I'm still very much enjoying the game.
